I got this during my quest for a Les Paul or PRS-style humbucker guitar, but I've landed on my keeper so you get to enjoy this one! Comes with fitted hardshell case, below are some details from the former owner, this thing really does have a sweet, clear, powerful voice:
"A unique opportunity to get your hands on a ESP custom guitar, built by a student of the internationally famed ESP Gakuen College in Tokyo (Japan)...
The student built this guitar as his graduation project under the apprenticeship of the trained ESP Custom Shop luthiers and it matches the quality of E-II models!
It’s the perfect mix of shape, specifications and tones from Gibson, Mosrite, PRS, ... has quite alot in common with the "Potbelly" model from ESP.
It features an amazing GOLD BURST finish...on a 1cm thick Maple cap (with “exposed wood” binding) that sits on top a burgundy finished Mahogany body and neck.
The rosewood fretboard has a beautiful woodgrain
underneath the abalone dot inlays.
Deep black headstock with an open book inspired design and thick volute, the trussrod turns in both directions without an issues.
The guitar features Gotoh hardware on the body [unknown tuners] and has a long neck tenon (as pictured)
The pickups are custom wound and have following outputs on the 3 way pickup selector:
Bridge humbucker: 15.78 kOhms
Neck humbucker: 11.71 kOhms
Bridge + Neck: 6.83 kOhms
The student worked many hours on this guitar, the result is a beautiful axe which does not hide the imperfections from the learning process by the student (for example: the 2 plugged holes from re-alligning the ABR tune-o-matic bridge, or the cracked lacquer on the finish of the headstock, fretboard edge and neck ... no breaks, just cracked lacquer as pictured)
the frets show use but it still plays great! There are NO problems with bending / playability and NO REFRET needed anytime soon"
