Gretsch G5125 with G6241 hardshell case, DeArmond pickups, Gotoh locking tuners

My favorite of the four Gretsch guitars I’ve owned over the years, this one’s pretty unique! I got the official case for it ($250), the DeArmonds are thicker than the usual single coil but more sparkly than a P90, the Chet Atkins bar adds flair and functionality. Hope you like it!
The 1st & 2nd string magnets on the bridge pickup sunk into the housing, so I reversed the pickup so they now go under the 5th & 6th strings, and also removed the shims from both pickups while I was at it, much sweeter sound without the overwhelming bass of these non-adjustable Dearmond pickups which were mounted too close to the strings.
(I noticed one of the knobs was off after the photoshoot, I have the knob for you :)
